Akým spôsobom sa šíria po svete vrabce, muchy alebo antilopy, je každému jasné. Keď však zoológ vyhlási, že aj slimáky sa môžu šíriť pomerne rýchlo naprieč kontinentmi, väčšina laikov to považuje za nevydarený žart.
