In April 2007 a malacological survey of the semi-natural fragment of an alder alluvial forest near Bratislava, Slovakia was carried out. In total, 18 species of land snails were found. The eurytopic woodland species Discus rotundatus and Monachoides incarnatus predominated. The hygrophilous woodland species Macrogastra ventricosa figured as an additional species.
